The Net Zero Accreditation is here to help small and medium-sized organisations take real, meaningful steps to measure their carbon emissions, build a credible plan to reduce them, and be recognised for doing so.

We know carbon reporting can feel overwhelming, the jargon, the frameworks, the uncertainty about where to start. That's exactly why we created four clear, progressive stages with straightforward criteria with an independent review to make sure what you're submitting is accurate and robust.

Net Zero Targets

The UK has committed to reaching net zero by 2050, with ambitious interim targets along the way. Meeting those goals requires every organisation, large and small, to play its part. For SMEs, that can feel like a big ask. But the truth is, measuring your footprint and having a credible plan in place puts you ahead of most. It demonstrates responsibility, builds trust with customers and supply chain partners, and increasingly gives you a competitive edge when it comes to tenders, procurement and finance applications.

How it works

Carry out a carbon footprint assessment, either yourself using our guidance, or with the support of a specialist carbon consultancy. We'll point you in the right direction whichever route you choose. Submit your Carbon footprint and Carbon Reduction Plan to us. Our carbon panel will independently review your submission, checking your methodology is sound, the right UK Government approved conversion factors have been used (DESNZ), and your data and targets are in line with recognised frameworks including the GHG Protocol and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Once approved, you'll receive your stage certificate and accreditation badge, ready to display on your website, tenders, marketing materials and stakeholder communications. Your organisation will also be listed in our public directory, giving customers and procurement teams an immediate, transparent view of where you are on your journey..

Ready to get started? We'd love to hear from you. Get in touch and we'll help you work out which stage is right for your organisation and what you need to apply.
